If your group, school or class does an activity using “Kids Thank A Veteran”, please let us know and include a picture (attach a scan to an e-mail and send to firstname.lastname@example.org). This can include activities such as poster contests, writing to veterans or just doing something special for our veterans to show that we care.

Howell Middle School South in Howell NJ, showed their patriotism during their annual "Red, White and Blue Day". The entire school was decorated with our colors, and children dressed in red, white and blue.

"Poster Contest held in Toms River, New Jersey"
A poster contest was held for the Toms River, NJ School System sponsored by "Kids Thank A Veteran" Director, Cherie Reid. Children participated from six elementary schools. The seven winners were awarded certificates, flags and gift certificates in a ceremony held at the A Jay Weeks VFW Post 6063, Courthouse Lane.
