Groups That Help Veterans
There are several groups that help Veterans. The American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Paralyzed Veterans of America and Veterans of Foreign Wars are just a few. The American Legion is our country`s largest Veterans support program. The Disabled American Veterans is a nonprofit organization with more than one million members who were disabled during war time or armed conflict. The Paralyzed Veterans of America help veterans who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction.
The VFW helps process veteran`s claims, assist veterans in discharge upgrades, corrects records, helps with education programs, applies for pensions and much more.
