“According to the Department of Veteran`s Affairs there are approximately 23,200.000 living Veterans today. Approximately 1,824,200 of these veterans are women. Our WWII Veterans are dying at a rate of about 900 per day. At this time we have approximately 1,800,000 living WWII Veterans but this number will be down to approximately 81,000 by September 30, 2024. (statistics from the Department of Veteran`s Affairs).
